Personal experience has revealed to me that many of our loved ones, affected by a stroke, or living with a disability that affects their ability to eat neatly, are treated without dignity.

Unfortunately, I learned this first hand when my elderly mother suffered a stroke. Plastic disposable bibs, terry cloth oversized protectors, stained wash-towels, and gaudy embarassing "designer" bibs were aplenty. And to my surprise, my mother didn't really seem to care. It was me, her daughter, who found the whole adult bib scene depressing and undignified. But as she regained her health and with it, some independence, she finally returned home. And guess what? She welcomed the attractive, functional mealtime protector that I created just for her homecoming. It was fun, cheery and reflected her unique sense of style and taste - a bib that didn't look like a bib. And boy did it save us all from stained shirts and clothing!

Now, my mother has a bib for every occasion. She never eats without one of her bibs and makes it a point to ask if one is packed in her purse when dining out. The adult bib caught on with her home caregivers, and their other clients ... and the rest is history.

We at Bibit Creations want to restore that DIGNITY to diners with tasteful, discreet, easy to use bib-apron(ette) shirt protectors that are appropriate in the home, in fast food restaurants and even in upscale dining establishments.

We are a small startup company with limited resources. Our adult bibs are not made overseas in China, Vietnam, Pakistan or any other foreign country. Nor do we have state-of-the-art equipment for competitive, mass textile production and perfect stitch work. So, please forgive the occasional less than perfect stitch. Our adult bibs are made right here in the USA (Pennsylvania) by those who care about enriching the lives of people with special needs. We do our best to provide a great product at a reasonable price that will make you and your loved one proud.
